Alissa is a recent graduate of Stockton University and is pursuing her dream to be a teacher of art, for k-12 students. Alissa has obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, with a concentration in Visual Communications, and an Art History minor. She has also received her Teacher Education CEAS, to be certified for Elementary Education and Art Education K-12 with two other minors in Childhood Studies and Digital Literacy/Multimedia Design. She has worked various jobs throughout her schooling, and is looking to apply and interview for her lifelong dream job as an art teacher. She has experience observing at Washington Avenue Elementary School in Pleasantville, NJ as well as subbing and student teaching at Dawes Avenue Elementary School in Somers Point, NJ. Her artwork has been shown in Atlantic Cape Community College’s 2015 Student Art Showcase, the Fall 2017 Senior Art Exhibition at Stockton University and the RAW 2018 Exhibition at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University. She has also had her artwork used as a label for Tuckahoe Brewing Co.’s Lag Putt Golfer’s Ale beer cans.
